St. Philip Neri Primary School was primarily built to provide the education for the less fortunate in our society. There are so many children who have a big potential but are totally neglected at their homes. Lack of proper care, lack of proper education and lack of development of social intelligence makes the child to enter completely unprepared for the job market and commonly puts him off, contributes to early pregnancies and involvement in criminality.

The uniqueness of our school consists of providing the education to all marginalized groups of children – the orphans and semi orphans, the reformed street children, physically disable children, children living with albinism, children from remote areas with difficult access to proper school and children from disadvantaged families.

Why should I sponsor a child?

There is a negative perception about the disadvantaged children within the Kenyan society. We believe that given a chance these children can change the future of Kenya. Our experience is that they belong among the top pupils in the class and after primary education they get the chances to the best secondary schools in the country. We believe that, us Kenyan should join hands together and help our children to get what belongs to them – a right for proper education and dignity childhood so that together we can change our country to the better place. Every child deserves a strong start, the best start for the successful future. But so many children in Kenya are lacking the opportunities to reach their full potential. You can change that…

How does the sponsorship work?

You can choose any child from the photos on our website. Because of ethical reasons we don’t include their life stories online. When you decide to sponsor a child send us a message through contact form at the bottom of the page. You will receive a welcome kit from us – the photos of your child and his or her life story and full information of how to start.

You can pay the school fees directly to the school account. You can pay termly, yearly or in lump sums. No administration cost is needed.

Who can be the sponsor?

It can be anyone above 18 years. It can be an individual, a whole family, group of friends, group of workmates, a sacco or whole department.

Can I be in touch with my sponsored child?

Sure. You will receive from us 3 times a year the report form from your child and photos. You can visit your child in our school over the weekend. You can have a video chat with your child. You can exchange photos via whats app.
