25.4.2019 HON. ABABU NAMWAMBA VISIT AND COMPUTER LAB OPENING
Another major milestone in St. Philip Neri Primary School.
Modern computer laboratory, school library and home science room were officially opened by Hon. Ababu Namwamba and H.E. Frantisek Dlhopolcek, Slovak Ambassador to Kenya. The project was financially supported by SlovakAid and St. Elizabeth University, Bratislava, Slovakia. The both Excellencies took more than 3 hours in our school for an unforgettable performance of our children and school and clinic tour with a climax of the official opening ceremony and reception.
24.3.2019 CHOIR PARTICIPATION AT FRANCOPHONIE DAY
Our new French choir participated for the first time at Francophonie day at Catholic University of Eastern Africa. The aim of the day was to celebrate the French learners especially in the Kenyan schools. Our French choir performed a choral verse.
12.3.2019 SCHOOL CHOIR ENTERTAINING HER EXCELLENCY
FIRST LADY OF KENYA MARGARET KENYATTA
Today we have achieved the biggest success of St. Philip Neri Primary School. We were leading the performance in Mater hospital for Her Excellency The First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and Their Excellencies Slovak Ambassador to Kenya Frantisek Dlhopolcek and Czech Ambassador to Kenya Pavel Rezac in the function of Czech and Slovak cardiologist doctors. Czech and Slovak cardiologists were operating in the hospital to save lives of little children from marginalized families living with serious heart problems. Thanks to the Slovak Embassy in Kenya we had a great pleasure to perform for the honourable guests like Hon. Ababu Namwamba, Hon. Sabina Chege, the above both mentioned ambassadors and the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta. Such a memorable day will remain forever in our memories!!! Together we achieve extraordinary!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR CANDIDATES OF 2018!!!
You all made it and made us proud!!! Special congrats goes to Winnie, our TOP K.C.P.E. candidate in 2018 who scored 424 and its on her way to best national school in the country!!!!! 5 out of 32 students scored above 400 marks..
INTRODUCTION OF NEW PROGRAMMES IN 2019
From January 2019 we are introducing new programmes in our school such as French language from Grade 2, computer classes from Grade 1 in our newly built computer lab and we are enhancing digital learning by introducing educational tablets with special software and interactive chart for kids to make the learning more interesting.
We have also revised our food menu which will include tea and bread on daily basis, meat for the children twice a week, fruits trice a week and many other tasty dishes for the the children.
Other extra curriculum activities will include music club, plenty of sports, swimming and literature club in our newly built library.
The kids will also benefit from practical skills trainings organized by professionals to complete the child development.

SUCCESS OF SCHOOL CHOIR
25 members of school choir with the leadership of their dedicated teacher Mr. Victor participated on 30th October 2018 in Safaripark hotel to commemorate 100 years anniversary of Czechoslovak Republic. The performance of our children had huge success and went viral in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
K. C. P. E. 2017 PERFORMANCE
In 2017, 38 candidates sat for K.C,P.E exam. Our mean grade was 357 and 7 of our pupils managed to score above 400 marks. The highest marked scored was 421 and the student joined Starehe girls high school.
Out of 38 students, 13 students joined national schools: 5 students joined Starehe boys, 2 students joined Starehe girls, 1 student joined Mangu high school, 1 student joined Siakago girls high school, 1 student joined Cardinal Otunga high school, 1 student received Utumishi boys academy, 1 student joined Mugoiri girls high school, 1 student joined Gatimu Ngandu girls high school. The rest of the students joined mostly extra county schools.
K. C. P. E. 2016 PERFORMANCE
Our school managed to get a mean score of 390 out of 500 marks with 14 students making it to National schools and the rest went to Provincial schools.
VISIT BY SLOVAK PRESIDENT FEBRUARY 2017
Our school received a state visit by the Slovak President while on his visit to Kenya. He was accompanied by State secretary and Slovak ambassador in Kenya.
